Where we come from (working title). When did we lose our connection to nature? These photos are part of an ongoing research into the relationship between nature on the one hand and humans and their created living environment on the other. When creating our cities, our living spaces, we push nature back. We enclose it, put it behind glass, reduce it. Is this what we want to settle for? Shouldn’t we give nature more free space? Don’t we need it to breath and remember where we come from? If we don’t, will we eventually lose a part of ourselves? Also interesting is that a movement like that of ebb and flow seems to exist between us. We push nature away, but if we don’t pay attention, nature grabs back and we find it growing through and between our own creations. Like a dance.
